We found Peace of Mind Property Services (434-361-1804) to be a good source of expertise for household repairs, even the odd balls. (It is nice they have an office manager to help coordinate their services.) For example, we needed to install a new frame for the sliding glass doors in our shower off the master bedroom. After checking with Peace of Mind to ensure they could handle the task, we ordered a frame kit and carefully checked the width of our glass doors that would be used in the new frame. The two pro installers had to cut the aluminum frame to fit, carefully caulk it, and so on; this was not a job for a handyman. To get caulking tight, they came back the next day. They read the directions that came with the new frame and didn't miss a step. For all the time it took, the bill was reasonable. The two techs were pleasant, neat, and professional. I just had an outstanding experience with a plumber recommended in the WBB directory. We had a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. The main water had to be shut off. Peace of Mind Property Services' Muriah Kurpel and helper (434-361-2804) came within a few hours to our mountain home and replaced the pipe and valve in no time flat.
