Following what others have recently said in the WBB, I'm submitting another recommendation for Daryl Morse (text him at 434-944-4378) because he has recently started offering his services here as a full-time job. I want to see him stay busy. I like what he does and how he does it. He did a professional job trimming our shrubs (and we are particular about how it is done) and cleaning out our gutters. For the past two seasons, Daryl Morse and his crew have cleaned my yard and two dry creek beds of leaves and branches that have accumulated over the winter. Daryl is very pleasant to work with, and in 2 1/2 hours, his crew had my yard looking great again. Unlike other crews I have had, Daryl actually brings a dump trailer and removes the dead leaves and, branches and sticks. His crew also used a weed-eater to trim around my walkways and ground-level porches. This is now Daryl's full-time job, so he is available during the week as well as on weekends. Another shout out for Daryl Morse (434-944-4378), who took care of my yard, mowing, cutting weeds, maintaining woods, paths, blowing the porch, and the driveway all at reasonable cost. To top it all off he spotted a copperhead snake just as I was about to reach into ferns where it was hiding. I did not see it at all. Daryl Morse (434-944-4378) has a dozen detailed recommendations in the WBB's directory from people who have used his help in their yards, but one point isn't as clear as it should be: Mr. Morse is professional. He listens. He's got pro equipment, a big, well-maintained truck with a large trailer, and he knows what he's doing, as we saw demonstrated recently when we needed our elaborate hedges brought under control. Daryl has been a big help to me for years; he built a playground, cut down grasses, bushes, and trees, trimmed and mulched, added gravel to the driveway, cleaned the gutters, raked the leaves, lawn cutting, etc. He has a lot of up-to-date equipment and a support network of brothers and friends that makes all things possible. I found Darryl Morse on the WBB Directory and used him to take down a couple of big dead and dying trees that could fall and damage both my mountain home and possibly my neighbors. He did a yeoman’s job at a fair price, took care of the debris, and left things cleaner and neater than before he started. He even took out a couple of smaller dead trees as a “bonus” to me without my requesting it nor did he charge extra for it. I can wholeheartedly recommend him if you are in need of his services. We called Daryl Morse (434-325-9196) for help with our yard work. He came on time with a crew of about six workers. I heartily recommend Daryl Morse for your tree work. He has helped me for years; he cuts down and breaks up limbs, trims, or whatever is needed at that time. He either fills a dump truck with all the limbs or brings his shredder. He has a powerful chainsaw that seems as if it is cutting through butter. I always buy mulch from him, too—he has the best price and dependable delivery. He can spread mulch, seed, cut grass, bush hog—you name it. He’ll also haul away your own piles of brush.
